Detroit Education Coalition
The United Way of Southeastern Michigan hosted a design workshop that brought together 18 high school students from various Detroit schools, including public, charter, and EAA institutions, to reimagine the future of Detroit's education system. Over four hours, the students worked in small teams to share personal stories, envision their ideal future, and bring their ideas to life. They discussed how the education system could provide meaningful support beyond graduation, helping to make their future aspirations more attainable and their journey less challenging.
